Vehicle Roll Over with 1 Ejected
At 02:15 on Saturday December 31st, 2011 United Fire along with EMS was dispatched for the 1 vehicle roll over on State Route 29 in Dimock Twp. Communications was reporting 2 injuries with 1 ejected and 1 self extricated with several trees down in the area. United 11 arrived confirming dispatch with the vehicle off the road in a yard. United Rescue responded with a crew of followed by engine 2 with 3. With units still responding Command requested 2 air medical units to respond. United rescue was directed into the scene to assist with patient care while Engine 2 was directed to set up the LZ at the airport in south Montrose. (More)
Rescue Assist with 2 Trapped
At 19:40 hours on Tuesday December 13th, 2011 United fire was alerted for rescue assist to Springville for the report of 1 vehicle into a tree with entrapment on SR 2024 Near the Dimock 4 corners. United 11 responded and was updated that they were getting reports of 1 heavily entrapped and unconscious and one other patient. United rescue responded with a crew of 5. Springville 11 arrived on scene to find a 4 door sedan into a tree at the passenger door with 2 patients heavily entrapped in the vehicle. Springville 11 established to command and requested air medical to respond.  United 11 arrived and was assigned operations requesting a full deployment of the rescue on arrival. EMS arrived and requested  a second air medical unit to respond. command then requested that United respond an engine while theirs handled the landing zone. (More)
Snow Keep Crews Busy
Wednesday December 7th 2011.
As nightfall began to descend on our area crews were alerted for he tower and engine 6 to respond for the second alarm assignment for the working residential Structure fire on SR 106 in Clifford township. While the fire was being dispatched United 11 was on the phone looking for a crew for a tree down on sprout road. the tower responded to the fire with a crew of 5 followed by the engine with 3. 6 more members with the utility responded to the tree down. the tower and engine were canceled while responding to the fire. The utility crew took care of 2 large trees down with the assistance of a GDS crew. as crews were returning to service he snow was beginning  to fall. (More)
Busy Day
Friday December 2nd 2011 started early at 07:35 communications alerted United Fire for incidents at the same time the first being a 1 vehicle crash on State Route 706 near Olin Road the other an assist to EMS for a landing zone at the Montrose High School for a burn victim. United 13 marked responding to the MVA as a unit from Springville was on scene of the crash reporting entrapment. United Rescue would respond  to the crash with a crew of three. Command would then request New Milford for an engine to assist with the LZ. United 13 arrived and established the 706 west command with a pick up on it's side off the road with 1 confined. The rescue would arrive and begin stabilization efforts with the air shores and box cribbing. United engine would crew and was sent to handle the LZ at the school. (More)
Crash with 3 trapped and one ejected
At 16:26 on Sunday November 6th, 2011 United fire and Montrose E.M.S. were alerted for a single vehicle roll over 2 miles north of Montrose on State Route 29. United 11 would respond to the scene followed by the rescue with a crew of 3 and the engine with 3. while Units were responding communications would advise they received a report from the scene that there were 4 injuries with 3 victims trapped and one ejected from the vehicle. United 11 would arrive just behind E.M.S. finding a sedan out in a pasture about 75 feet from the road on it's roof with 2 people trapped in the vehicle one of the victims with their legs pinned under the roof of the vehicle and one victim out of the vehicle in the field (more)

Structure Fire New Milford  
Early in the morning on Saturday October 29th, 2011 United fire was alerted for a tanker assist to New Milford Fire as cover up on the second alarm for a working residential fire. United Tanker would respond with 2 with a crew standing by in station. The Tanker would arrive and join water supply operations. About an hour and a half after the tanker responded command on scene would request United Engine to the scene for manpower. United Engine 6 responded with a crew of 4. On arrival the crew was assigned to overhaul on division one in the rear. once this task was completed they were reassigned to overhaul and suppression on division 2. Structure Fire Snake Creek
At 15:03 on Sunday October 23, 2011 United Fire was alerted for and engine and tanker to respond as part of the first alarm assignment to Mucky Run Road for a garage fire in Snake Creek's first due. United Engine 6 responded with a crew of three followed by the Tanker with a crew of two. While responding communications advised there was a unit on scene reporting the garage fully involved and endangering other structures. Snake creek officers then requested the second alarm be struck adding United tower to the alarm. The tower also responded with three. (more)
