Prior the arrival of the Tower crews had made an aggressive interior attack on division 1&2 and attic and began to open the roof for ventilation. The crews had also laid a 5" line to a nearby creek with tankers standing by as a secondary water source. The crews on scene made a great stop on the fire.  The Tower arrived on scene at 23:50 and command staged the Tower on the road and split the crew assigning them to division 2 truck company and division 1 engine company. United 13 (C.E. Daly)  took division 2 operations and he truck crew began to open up the ceiling and the "C" side wall checking for extension and eventually moving up to the attic.
