Rescue On The Box to New Milford 
On Friday October 27th, 2006 at 16:12 the Box assignment for a structure fire on Ebbs Corner RD in Franklin Twp. at the intersection with Stub Rd. Units on the Box included New Milford fire and ambulance Hallstead rescue engine and tanker, United Rescue for RIT and Harford Engine to stand by in New Milford. United Rescue 1 responded with a crew of 6 at 16:14 along with United 13 (C.E. Daly) going to the scene.

While units were responding communications advised that they had received additional calls on the fire confirming working fire. New Milford Engine 3 arrived at 16:25 found a single wide house trailer fully involved. United Rescue 1 arrived on scene at 16:27 and received an updated assignment to stretch 2  1 3/4" lines from New Milford Engine 2 and attack the fire. On the arrival of Hallstead rescue their crew was assigned to truck duties for over haul. Crews operated for about and hour and a half. The home was a total loss and there were no injuries reported. The home owner was receiving assistance from the Red Cross. All units were back in service at 17:45.
