On the weekend of November 11th and
12th, 2006 two members of the united fire company along with
members of the Susquehanna Fire department, Vestal NY Fire
Department, Forest Lake Fire Department, Montrose EMS and
Station 36 Scott TWP from Lackawanna County took part in
Phase 2 water rescue Boat ops training. The Call was held in Susquehanna
hosted by PA Water Rescue. Members spent 2 days on the river
going over every thing from basic handling of boats advanced
rescue evolutions. All of the departments worked very well
together and are looking forward to attending the ice rescue
call this winter. We would like to thank the Susquehanna Fire
Department for holding the class and the instructors for all
of the hard work.
