The Crew deployed a 1 3/4" hose line and used a fog pattern to dissipate the gas while the technician removed and capped the valve. Montrose EMS and United Engine 6 also responded to the scene at commands request should they be needed. All units were in service by 08:30. There were no injuries reported and the gas company remained on scene to fix the problem.

On Tuesday March 27th, 2007 just before 07:30 hours Susquehanna County Communications dispatched United Fire Company at the request of United 12 (M.Hinds) for a propane leak on Post Pond Rd. in Bridgewater Twp. at Craft's Lumber. United 12 was on scene with an outside above ground 1,000 gallon propane tank leaking from an overfill valve.
