June Keeping Busy 

On Tuesday June 12th, 2007 United responded to 3 more emergencies. The first dispatch was at 07:07 for the reported structure fire on Drinker ST. in the Boro. The tower with 5 and United 12 (M.Hinds) responded. Units arrived to find nothing from the outside. it was found to be a CO alarm activations. Crews metered the house with nothing found. All units were available at 07:25. At 12:05 United was again alerted for a search for a missing 2 year old on Ridge RD. Bridgewater Twp. United 12 checked responding and was advised that the child was possibly found. United 12 continued in until receiving verification that the child was found from the county. Unites were in service at 12:18.

The last response for the day came during a afternoon thunder shower. At 16:44 Communications alerted United Fire Company of a tree down with wires on Turnpike Rd. in Bridgewater Twp. United Brush 7 and united 11 (P. Sprout ) responded. Crews arrived to find a large limb from a tree down on electrical and telephone wires blocking the road. It was found that the tree had caused damage to 3 poles. Units secured the scene and returned to service at 17:23
