Car in Creek in Fairdale

Command placed the Rescue in service prior to their arrival and held the engine to to the incident to control hazards. Crews remained on scene while PSP did the investigation and the tow service removed the vehicle. There were no injuries reported and all units were back in service 09:40.

On Sunday July 8th, 2007 at 07:12 Susquehanna County Communications dispatched United Fire Company along with Montrose EMS for the report of a 1 car crash on the Forest Lake Rd just off SR 706 Jessup twp. United 14 (C. Rosengrant) responded and was updated by communications that the car missed a bridge and was down over a bank in the creek and there was some one still in the vehicle. the Rescue and Engine responded with a total of 7 personnel. United 14 arrived to find a car in the creek off the road with the occupant out of the car denying injury, and established the Fairdale command.
