Once the crew made entry found the alarm was coming from the basement. The tower crew went in on the investigation finding water coming from the ceiling of the furnace room. crews isolated the water line and had the County staff notified who came to repair the problem all units were available by 21:30.

Just before 21:00 on Thursday December13th, 2007 United Fire Company along with Montrose EMS were dispatched for the commercial fire alarm 11 maple st Montrose boro, the Susquehanna County Court House. United 11 (P. Sprout) responded quickly requesting the status of a key holder. Communications advised they were in the process. United Tower 3 responded with a crew of  4 followed by the engine also with a crew of 4. United 11 arrived on scene with nothing showing. A 360 of the building was completed with nothing showing.  Command had the tower stage on the "D" side of the building and await the key holder. EMA 1 (M. Wood) advised he was responding with a key.
