| On Saturday January 6th, 2007 the
officer and members of the United fire Company held the annual
Installation Banquet at the United Fire Hall. State Representative
Sandra Major was present and spoke before the meal. Members and guests
were treated to a roast beef dinner prepared by the members of the Snake
Creek Fire Department. The dinner was followed by a slide show of the
past year. After the slide show the new and returning officers were
sworn in by the Mayor of Montrose John Wilson. A few of the members were
then recognized for accomplishments from the last year and Chief Sprout
gave the report of the chief. The Dance floor was then opened up the DJ
for the evening was All Fired Up. We would like to thank those involved
to make this a wonderful evening.
