Basic Vehicle Awareness Training

On Sunday March 4th, 2007 members of the United Fire Company along with members from Forest Lake and Springville held the practical session for the basic vehicle awareness class at United Fire Hall. The group practiced vehicle stabilization for removal of victims of motor vehicle crashes. The class was sponsored through Bucks County Community College and the lead instructor was Trent Turner from Clifford Fire Company. The class was the end of the first of three 16 hour modules to become PA Department of Health certified as vehicle rescue technicians. We are looking forward to the operation module witch will be done through the month of March. In all there was almost 40 people in attendance for the class.
