On the morning of March 16th, 2008 while crews were serving breakfast communications alerted the crews for the report of a 1 vehicle crash with injuries on the Elk Lake Rd. near Cantone Rd. United 11 (P. Sprout) along with the Rescue and Engine 2 with a total of 8 firefighters responded from the hall. United 11 arrived to find the vehicle sideways in the northbound lane with both occupants out of the vehicle. Command requested that the rescue assist EMS with patient care  and had the engine stop at the vehicle to control hazards. Crews remained on scene while State police did the investigations and the Tow service removed the vehicle. There were no injuries reported.
