Several Members traveled to Rush Wednesday night July 30th, 2008 with
the New rescue to attend the Parade. After the parade was over Rush Fire
and Montrose EMS were alerted for a 2 car crash with Multiple Patients.
Rush Arrived to find several Patients with serious injuries and were
requesting 2 helicopters to the scene. Rush command called back to the
carnival grounds and requested that United Members respond to the LZ to
assist. 9 members boarded Rescue 1 and responded. Once all of the 9
patients were transported United Rescue was brought into the Scene to
provide Lighting while State Police did the investigation. The rescue
made it home around 12:30 Thursday Morning.
