On Friday April 17,2009 just after 13:00 Hours United fire was
dispatched to South Scott rd. in bridgewater twp. for a brush fire.
United Brush and Engine 6 would Respond. United 15 arrived on scene
correcting the location to Scott Rd. finding a small brush fire
extending into the woods establishing the command. United brush 7 and
additional; members would arrive and quickly contain the fire. the fire
was started by burning garbage. the fire burned about a 1/4 acre and
there were no injuries reported. The United fire company would like to
ask every one to be cautious when doing open burning this time of year.
