In the morning of Wednesday April 29th, 2009 United fire and Montrose
EMS was alerted for a vehicle into the building on Public Ave. in the
boro. United 11 (P. Sprout) would arrive to find a vehicle into the
building with the driver out of the vehicle shaken up. There was also
structural damage to the building. Luckily no one in the building was
near the window at the time of the crash and no one was injured. Several
members arrive on scene and command held the apparatus at station.
members remained on scene assisting PD with the investigation and the
recovery service with the removal of the vehicle. there were no injuries
reported and all units were available in 30 minutes
