Around 02:45 on Saturday May 23rd, 2009 United Rescue was alerted to
assist Springville with a 1 car crash with a pole down on SR 29 between
Springville and Dimock. United rescue would respond with a crew of 5.
Springville 12 would arrive with a corrected location of South of
Springville. Being initially short staffed he would have the rescue
continue to the scene to help to look for the victim who was not in the
vehicle. The victim was not found with the search and the rescue crew
controlled hazards on the vehicle before being released from the scene.
United fire would then be alerted for a 1 vehicle roll over around 05:30
in front of the bridge water Twp. Building on SR 29 just south of town.
United 14 (P.Johnson) would arrive and establish the command with the
north bound lane partially blocked and no one in the vehicle. the
patient would be located in a passer-by's vehicle and would be
transported by Montrose EMS with minor injuries the rescue, Engine 2,
and the utility would respond to control hazards and control traffic
until PSP did the investigation and the tow service removed the vehicle.
