just before 00:00 hours on Sunday May 24th, 2009 United fire would be
alerted to respond to a 1 vehicle crash with 5 injuries and 1 ejected on
the forest Lake Rd. initially thought to be in Forest lake twp. Forest
lake Fire and Montrose EMS were already responding. The Rescue
would respond with 4 and the Engine with 5. United 13 would arrive
finding the crash to be in Jessup twp. with a car on it's side into a
power pole and and garage. Forest lake units would arrive and begin
Patient care and setting up a LZ. United units would arrive and provide
lighting and traffic control as well as the crew from the rescue
assisting with patient care. in all 4 patients would be taken by ground
to the hospital and one patient was flown to a trauma center. Once all
of the patients were removed from the scene Forest lake units were
released and the united Units remained while the utility company as well
as the wrecker service cleaned up and PSP did the investigation. |
