Engine 6 Responding to the Alarm

On the evening of Tuesday June 23, 2009 several members on the united
fire company along with a member from Little Meadows attended the 3rd
segment of the pump ops 1 class being sponsored by the United Fire
Company. The class was held at the Andre's and sons pond where
participants were able to get hands on training. this 16 hour state
recognized class is necessary for all pump operators in the united fire
company. Class was slightly delayed due to having to handle an automatic
Fire Alarm in the boro just as we were getting set up for class. We
would also like to thank the instructors Jerry fives and C.E. Daly for
putting on a wonderful class. A very Big thank you to William Zalewski
for bringing up his "Engine 98" so the class could get experience
running a slightly different type of pump.
