At the August 5th, 2009 Meeting President Daly and Chief Sprout accepted
a donation from Hunter Cady, Son of Firefighter ted Cady and brother of
firefighters Ashley and Courtney Cady. Hunter had gone out and and got
donations of $0.05 for every book he read in a months time. His goal was
to read 50 books, and he was able to read over 60. Hunter presented the
company with $133.15 in donations he collected in the project. The
Officers and members of the United Fire Company Thank Hunter for his
hard work.
