Haz-Mat in Harford

On Saturday August 8th, 2009 United fire Company was requested to Respond a Decon engine to assist Harford fire with a rail car leaking HydroChloric Acid with reports of a plume visible. While United was responding units on scene were busy evacuating near by residents and trying to obtain more information on the leak. Once United engine 2 arrived they were tasked with assisting in the set up of decontamination lines. Units remained on scene for over 2 hours but luckily only had to Decon 1 victim with symptoms.
