On Saturday August 29th, 2009 United fire participated in a county wide
drill to test the Mass Casualty and Haz-Mat response plans in place.
United Fire is Part of the Decon Task Force in the county. United engine
2 and a crew of 3 attended the drill and assisted with setting up a
technical Decon operation. Crews gained a lot of real world experience
in working with the drill and is better prepared to handle a real life
situation.
