Rescue Assist Snake Creek
n the Evening of November 3rd, 2009 With crews at the station cleaning up from a minor crash in the boro. Communications Alerted United Fire to assist Snake Creek with the rescue for a 1 vehicle crash on SR 29 in Brookdale. As crews were boarding the rescue communications advised they were getting additional reports that the patient may be unconscious. United rescue responded with a crew of 6 with additional going to the scene. Snake Creek crews arrived to find a SUV on its side in a ditch with entrapment. United Rescue arrived and began stabilization efforts with air shores and box cribbing. Crews then went to work rolling the roof back to remove the patient.  Snake creek crews had deployed the safety line and set up the landing zone for Guthrie Air. Once the extrication was complete crews assisted Montrose EMS with packaging of the patient. Crews Were back in service in just over an hour.
