Around 09:45 on Sunday December 27th, 2009 United Fire was alerted for a
rescue assist to Springville on the Dimock to Brooklyn RD. in Dimock
Twp. United 13 was first to arrive to find a car down over about a 15
foot bank on it's side with the driver confined. Springville Units
arrived and began stabilization efforts. United rescue with a crew of 6
arrived and went to work assisting with the shoring and then removing
the roof to free the patient. The Patient was removed to a back board
then placed in a stokes basket to be roped up the hill. Montrose E.M.S.
transported he patient. PA state police were on scene to Handel the
investigation. all unites were back in service shortly before 11:00
hours.
