On Saturday October 16th, 2010 United Fire company participated in an
evacuation drill held at the Endless mountains health Systems facility
in Montrose. The drill simulated a chemical release inside the building
and the pt and staff needed to be evacuated. Crews assisted with
removing the patients from the hospital to waiting ambulances to be
transported to a temporary hospital.
