Back to Back Early Morning Wrecks

At 01:48 hours united fire was alerted for a 1 vehicle crash into the guard rails on SR 706 near Tiffany Corners in Bridgewater twp. United 11 reported to the scene followed by the rescue crew of 3 and the Utility crew of 2. United 11 arrived to find a pick up with the front end up on the guard rails and one patient in the passenger seat no entrapped. The passenger was reporting that the driver had fled the scene. the rescue arrived and provided lighting and began searching for the driver . EMS took care of the passenger from the truck who was taken to the hospital. The utility arrived and handeld the traffic. Just as crews finished the search with no further Patients found. Communications was Dispatching United Fire for a 1 vehicle crash with the car over a bank on SR 3001 near Lake St in Bridgewater twp. Communications advised that the caller believed that the everyone was out of the vehicle.  With no further services required from the rescue on the first scene command released the rescue to respond to the second crash. United 13 and united 12 also marked responding to the second crash. United 11and the utility remained on scene of the first crash awaiting PSP and the tow service. United 12 and 13 arrived on scene confirming dispatch with the occupant out of the vehicle not complaining of injury. The vehicle was well off the road over a bank. The rescue arrived and set up lighting while EMS tended to the patient. once EMS had checked the patient the rescue was relocated to Lake St to keep traffic moving on SR 3001. Crews remained on scene for over an hour awaiting PSP and the tow service. all units were clear around 04:15.
