At 02:25 hours a little over an hour after clearing a chimney fire in
Bridgewater Twp. Crews were alerted for a 1 vehicle crash vehicle in a
ditch with the occupant unconscious on SR 3001 in Bridgewater twp.
United 11 and 13 marked responding followed by the rescue and utility.
United 11 arrived to find a pick-up into a tree with one confined. As on
scene crews began assessing the patient a fist fight broke out between
two by standers prompting command to request law enforcement to expedite
and and additional ambulance. The rescue arrived and deployed box
cribbing and the Hurst 32" spreaders to remove the drivers door.
Once the door was removed the driver self extricated. The Patient was
eventually transported to the Hospital By EMS. Crews remained on scene
for over an hour assisting law enforcement with traffic while they
handled the investigations. No other injuries were reported. |
