Confined Entry training
The confined space rescue class, sponsored by the Susquehanna County Rescue Task Force committee, held at United Fire Co. was a huge success. Members of many county fire departments were in attendance for the weekend.

Training was conducted on the hazards of confined space entries, proper tool and personnel management, the legalities of entering a confined space, and of course a very extensive day of hands on practical exercises.

A special thanks to the instructors who gave up a weekend to share with us their in depth knowledge of this subject. Also special thanks to CGE Environmental for their assistance in setting up the training site as well as the use of their confined space equipment. We would be remiss if we did not at this time also thank the Susquehanna County Fireman’s Assoc. and their Rescue Task Force committee for coordinating this training through the Pennsylvania State Fire Academy and Bucks County Community College.

 We hope everyone enjoyed themselves and learned as much as we did. Thanks for coming and hopefully we’ll see you at another class soon.
