United Attends Disaster Drill
Around 9am. Saturday September 30th 2006 United fire Company along with Montrose EMS were dispatched to the report of Multiple people down at the Montrose Area High School. Communications advised that this was a drill.  United11 (P.Sprout) responded arriving first on scene and established the command. It was found that some type of disaster had occurred inside the school including an unknown chemical. Additional resources we called to respond to the school including the County Decon task force.  Units that responded included Snake Creek Engine and Tanker, Forest Lake Engine and Tanker, Silver Lake Tanker and Ambulance, Springville Engine and Tanker,  Clifford Rescue and Ambulance, Hop Bottom Tanker and Brush Truck, Hallstead Rescue, New Milford Tanker, Harford Ambulance and Tanker, Great Bend Hallstead Ambulance, Susquehanna Ambulance, Little Meadows Ambulance, Local law enforcement and Many local and state agencies.
