The United Fire Company of Montrose PA is a very active department responding to on average over 300 calls for service each year. theses calls include fires, motor vehicle crashes, hazardous Material incidents, as well as general public service calls. We also meet every Tuesday night to train, maintain our equipment, or do community service activities. Our business Meetings are held on the first and third Wednesday of each month. Application The United Fire Company is always seeking energetic motivated individuals to join our ranks. We are seeking fire fighters as well as fire police, and support personnel. To Join as a probationary member you must be at least 14 years old and submit an application To Become an Active member: You must attend at least 1/2 half of the bussiness meetings for the first year You must Attend at least 1/3 of all of the calls for service for the first year You must attend at least one fire training course in the first year To get an application ask a member of the department or come to the fire hall on a Tuesday night around 7:00 pm during our work night
